An Encyclopedia of Bottles is what I contributed to the Sketchbook Project 2012 (conducted by Art House Co-op). This encyclopedia is a result of my obsession with bottles and it reveals a whole new world of experimentation. Forms, shapes, colors, textures and materials are just a few of all the elements that I have tried to explore through this particular work. It was a lot of fun working on this project and it has helped me build a collection of little fun experiments that I would like to take forward in different directions.

This is what a writer friend had to say about me and the book. Take a look at the encyclopedia in progress, here. Find a digitized copy of this book in the Digital Library of Brooklyn Art Library.

Sixty stories by sixty different writers, put together in a book I was asked to do the cover for. Quite a challenge and fun it was to portray the vivid imaginations of these young writers on a single sheet of paper. Hosted by Tender Leaves, the book is a result of a story writing competition held amongst various schools in Pune. Know more about the competition, the book, its release and the little writers on Tender Leaves’ blog.

This is a project that I have been at for more than a year now. As the name suggests, the project is aimed at the numerous doodles that I create. It began as a daily doodle activity that I would share with my friends over Facebook, but seeing the overwhelming response of people towards my little pieces of fun, I decided to take it forward. My doodle blog, especially dedicated to the whole body of work, is first in the scheme of other things that are going to unfold as a part of this project.

Bruxism, one of the doodles, got published by ArtMalaysia magazine in their December 2010 issue. Another Malaysian tabloid called KOSMO published the same doodle as a part of Project Raksasa Doodles conducted by Squeak Art Asia. Here’s the online article by KOSMO and the blog post by Squeak Art Asia. Also, some of my other works that were featured by  them.

A spread that I had illustrated for Karadi Tales in three different styles. The story was called, ‘The Wednesday Bazaar’ and this particular spread depicted the characters walking down the road towards the bazaar.

A poster that I recently designed for the Art of Bicycle Trips. This one is a part of the promotional campaign for their Victorian Bangalore Safari. Biking around the Garden City, what fun!
